Burnside School Curriculum
As a school we have decided to base our curriculum around our school carving. The reason for this is that it has been made especially for our school and represents ideals and values which are important to our school. It also tells the story of our local community both in the past and looking towards the future. All the children who were at our school when the carving was created had a hand in making it, whether it be carving, sanding or providing ideas.

OUR CARVING is made by pride by the pupils of Burnside Primary School. It is a real taonga made by Gavin Britt and the children and staff here in 2007.
